I should have known better than to attempt to eliminate a relatively small, pesky drip under the kitchen sink on a day when all the hardware stores were closed, due to the SNOWPOCALYPSE. Sunday Dinner Had folks set to table at the homeplace today. Fed them Hoppin' John, Collard Greens and Cornbread. Nobody complained. One was kind enough to say it was better than his Low Country grandmother used to make. I was right pleased. We offered Spritz Cookies, Cora's Rum Cake, and Mississippi Orange Slice Cake for dessert. Nobody refused. A great start to the New Year with the best of Family and Friends. ¡Salud!
