The Question

It helps to know who Will Campbell was, and who built Riverside Church in New York City, and what Will said after this. But even without that, the message is worth hearing. Especially since it is more than just a message about racism.

    "Nothing…unless you sell your big building and give it to the poor. Let’s go out on the street and see what you can get for this big building.”

    "Surprisingly," Campbell says, “they did not act on my proposal."

    G.K. Nelson: they do but most of them are American Baptists rather than Southern Baptists, and there aren't many AB's out there anymore.
