Thank You Note We had some friends that were going to be south of Columbia, SC, for the eclipse, but we weren't sure we'd be able to make it that far, between schedule restrictions and traffic. Looking on a NASA map, I noticed that Winnsboro was within the total eclipse path. I've never been there, but I had a musical connection to the place, by the songs mentioned in an earlier post. Thompson, with the Davidson College Physics Department, and the Fairfield County Museum of Winnsboro teamed up to host a series of events culminating with an Eclipse Celebration at Garden Street Park Ballfield.
