    Geo. Tirebiter Me, too, but that isn't what this is. It's a readable, but in depth look at the behind the scenes history of Astounding and it's contributors.

    As David Drake (Hammer's Slammers) said: “Astounding has taught me things I didn’t know; put in context things I did know; and corrected things I thought I knew. This is a wonderful, well-written book; a delight to read.”

    Drew McCarthy You just sold a book for that guy. Geo. Tirebiter Do you remember those huge anthologies edited by Groff Conklin? Back in the 80s you could buy a 3 inch thick collection for about 6 bucks at Crown Books.
