    Local news reports say there were folks who refused to evacuate from St. George Island and Dog Island. Eyewall speeds of 125+ KT have been measured, with a low of 928 mb. Storm surge of up to 14 FT has been predicted in this area.

    I heard from my #2 son that sections of Tallahassee have lost electrical power already - 100 miles from the storm center.
