Provenance is a difficult topic, both for objets d'art, and refugees.

Immigration authorities have a difficult job, best done rationally and compassionately. At scale, it's difficult to do with any normal metrics for success.

    At least one of the questions is whether untruthfulness in an immigration interview correlates with any future bad behavior.
    The harsh reality is that immigration systems require a certain level of disqualification of applicants in order to function.
