BBQ and pig pickin' are as different as day and night, white and black, pork butt and kardashian butt.
ReplyDeleteBBQ is presented to you as a finished product, at a pig pickin' you present yourself to the pig and personally dig out the bits you want.
A small gathering might only smoke a half-hog, and a suckling is traditionally preferred over a fully matured hog. But that's the general idea.
