    I haven't had an issue with Amazon, and I buy from them all the time, even with them charging tax on me. If they say it's delivered, I know it's here somewhere. When you have 2 young kids in the house, they'll open the door even after being told not to, then take the package and put it somewhere weird without telling.

    We've had several instances where delivery notices said they were here... but I was also here, and they weren't. Sometimes, the thing would show up a day or two later, sometimes it would not appear at all.

    To add to the confusion, an item I had ordered arrived on Tuesday, and yesterday was I surprised to receive the email from Amazon that it had shipped. The Prime® item was actually mailed from the Home Depot store in Gainesville, 20 miles from my house.
