The conversation slowed quite a bit, as people got down to the serious business of appreciating the food.

Even better? Nobody broke out a phone to take a picture. The Internet did just fine without us.

We're happily noshing on leftovers today, even if there are fewer than we might have guessed at.

If y'all celebrate the holiday, we wish you a fine one. We're thankful for all our blessings today, while being mindful of things and folks we've lost this year, and those who are less fortunate than us.
