Sure, you are curious and want to see, but you and your drone are endangering everyone.
Seriously folks, stop with this. It is not ok, it is illegal, unsafe for other aircraft (know what would happen when your drone gets sucked into the engine of a plane low dropping fire retardant?)
Keep your toys at home and let the grownups work to stop the fires.

overreaction, I'll bet. I have a drone, it weighs less then 2lbs. if it ran into a plane or helicopter, it would be destroyed and set to the ground. So it's just a constipated government not wanting hobbyists to fly.
ReplyDeleteIn terms of FOD, 2 lbs is a lot, if it impacts an airfoil edge, a prop, or gets sucked into an engine. Otherwise, you're right.
