The morning began with the Sound Of Freedom (by Rolls Royce) above, and biting Black Flies below.

Must be Hancock Creek.

I brought a Jump Box to power a 12V fan for the comfort of whatever sod ending up packing the spinnaker in 120° heat. Ended up having to use it to get the diesel started.

Might have to race without shipboard electronicals today. Might end up head down in the engine compartment later today. Joy, joy.

At least there appears to be enough wind to race some before the inevitable thunderstorms.
