Stern wave on the final downwind leg, at just about hull speed. Pushing a lot of water.

Took a third and a first. About everything that could go wrong, did, on the first race.

Took four tacks to clear the line on the start, when one of the high dollar Tylaska shackles on the genoa released unexpectedly. Whee. Hard to win a race when that happens.

Wind was pretty fresh, so we all had to work pretty hard today. Didn't use to be so hard, when we were younger.

Still, didn't break anything.

Headed out for tacos and Cruzan Blackstrap.
