    Do you use the SpotTheStation app? I have it, but we haven't had a clear night in so long I tend to just look wistfully up and imagine it passing over...

    Yes. I get email notifications from the folks at NASA: spotthestation.nasa.gov - Spot The Station And then use the compass feature of the app to figure out which way to look.
