Being Schooled

Being Schooled

I posted a link to Jim Wright's essay, Pragmatism, a little while ago.

This? This ain't it.

Also, this?

This ain't it, either. Not having a Plan B is a clear example of Bad Leadership, in my book. Hillary may yet surprise me with a graceful, inspirational concession speech. But I'm not holding my breath.

Showing up. It's what you do. Not doing it? Not okay.

Best get some practice in. It will be needed.

  1. What I found interesting was the calling of the election results. As I followed multiple sites, it appeared the race was decided first by AP, then, of what I saw : NYT, PBS, CNN, NBC, Fox, ABC, CBS. The last four not making the call until after HRC conceded.

I see President Obama has invited DJ Trump to the White House. Maybe the acrimony - on both sides - will be mothballed for a few months.

    If a society has a consciousness, ours may be Bi-Polar. : /

  2. Yeah, well the pundits and newspapers have generally proved that they don't know as much as they think they did. Just like all the various branches of government have.
Be nice to think that some wisdom and humility are being imparted, but that's probably unrealistic.
Good news is, if you're of a Certain Age, you've endured having a Fool for a Leader more than once. It's always annoying, sometimes dangerous, and occasionally fatal.
Here's hoping we all avoid the last bit, a bit longer.
