I generally enjoyed PHC, although there were times when I thought it lost its edge (what there was of it), and the musicians were all quite good.
My view of Garrison Keillor and his work changed a bit after I read his columns as Mr. Blue, and the novel that came out of it.

I'm glad he's still around, and I hope he keeps writing.

I listened to my local Public radio station every Saturday night for 25 years, I will miss him. I loved all the Lake Wobegon books. :). It may have been silly and kitchy but oh the music on that program! :)
ReplyDeleteYes. He and his crew did a lot of things very well. You have to respect any house band that includes the like of Spider John Koerner and Sam Bush.
