Isn't always a bad thing. Went to see the new that "tentpole genre film starring women" Ghostbusters. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

I had to laugh at myself when I noticed how flipping some of the role play seemed jarring to me. Not because it was done badly, but because it wasn't pandering to me. How dare they! Ha!

I enjoyed the original Ghostbusters immensely, but I was raised on early horror schlock and National Lampoon. That movie was made for my tribe.

Definitely worth seeing. Stylish, punchier, lots of laughs.
