Started out inauspiciously, with light and variable winds. Built up a bit, and then got pinched in between competing thunderstorms.

Had changed down to the #3, and rode out the first gust front handily, although with considerable weather helm.

Things eased up a bit, and flying the asym was discussed, when the second storm broke over us, and we broke a halyard and skated around a bit.

Got busy fixing stuff, and later discovered a forward stanchion had punched through the deck.

Took second place, and a few bumps and bruises to take home.
