Take Oath

Take Oath

I, State Your Name...
Can always be trusted NOT to be trusted,
To run from any fight I cannot win,
To win any fight I cannot run from,
To plunder treasure with a hearty laugh,
To swab the deck with a hearty hand,
To seek freedom with a hearty heart,
And to sing "Yo Ho" in a hearty voice... over and over again!
AND... to discourage the use of "parlay" in situations of conflict when those who seek to evoke it are only tryin' to save their own skins anyway, causin' pain and sufferin' for the captain, death and destruction for the entire crew, and an abuse of the use of "parlay" as defined in the Code- which is more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules anyway.
Ah, just say... Yo Ho Ho!
You are now officially Pirates!

    Cross your fingers for luck
    Join with mates around you

  2. I seriously doubt the paper rivals on the job training.   Where's the rum consumption?

  3. Kasey Snow -- this is what we were talking about when we were talking about getting a degree in piracy.

  4. I agree, Timothy Street. No rum? No swearing the air blue? Not to mention that Charles River excursions hardly qualify one to be a Salty Dog...
However, I salute their aspirations, if not the rigor of their efforts.

  5. Drew McCarthy  Perhaps a few old salts with unsavory tendencies will devise a graduate degree curriculum -

  6. Haha, amazing. My guess is the only thing you do with this degree is become a LARPer or do reenactments at historic sites.

  7. Well, at least until someone is foolish enough to give you command of a small boat, Kasey Snow
