The Stunt Woman

The Stunt Woman

"I was learning photography at the Ministry of Aviation, Harefield.  One of my teachers there was a film stills man and he brought in some photographs that he had taken of some people doing judo.  He explained that they were stuntmen, and I thought, 'Perhaps I can get paid for doing judo as well as shelling out all this money to learn it.' (Cyd, who had been doing judo for six years, was a second dan, which is two grades above a black belt.)"

"But on the Avengers, I never thought about getting hurt.  I thought 'I might die.  But I won't get hurt.'  You always believed in your total invulnerability that you were going to do it!"
