    That's a very enlightening interview. Outside of his fiction, almost everything I know about Moore's strong opinions is from curmudgeonly one-liners and short press releases about how he pretty much hates everything and everybody. As someone who adores the medium of cinema, I actually find his almost wholesale condemnation of the art form quite well reasoned and valid in many aspects.

My favourite tragedies are the ones where you almost find yourself laughing; it's too awful, and you're taken to that edge."
